My Favorite Blades

Tried a few other brands but keep coming back to these. I hardly ever get any nicks with these blades unlike other brands that would leave me with a cut or two every time.

The Price just might be worth it

I have been buying the sampler packs and slowly working my way through a number of the different brands of DE razor blades on FineShave but I was always hesitant to try the Merkur blades because of the price. However, I decided to give it a go and so far, I am very impressed. The shave is very close, there is not pulling on the blade (however I only use the same blade for four shaves - twice on each side) and ... the big plus is that I have had no irritation or shaving rash afterwards (coming from someone with sensitive skin). Like a few other brands, they also come in a handy plastic tray with a disposal slot in the base which is important to me. These blades have definitely become a favourite! Also, I use the Taylor of Old Bond St, Jermyn St Collection shave cream & will never change!
