Alexander Simpson Est. 1919 Bay Rum Pre-Shave Oil 50ml
First, wet your face with warm water (don’t dry the face, leave it dripping wet). Then place 3-4 drops of the oil into the palm of your hand and gently massage into the bristles of your wet face until completely absorbed (around 30-60 seconds).
Leave the pre shave oil on and apply a quality shaving cream like the Alexander Simpson Ultra-Glide cream. Start shaving as usual and finishing an epic shave by applying Simpson soothing & moisturising post shave balm.
Unlike some Shaving Oils that can be applied to dry skin, this Pre-Shave Oil works best by increasing the skin suppleness and pliability NOT by providing lubrication, well-moisturized and supple skin does not cut or become irritated as easily as dry skin.
- Size 50ml
- Protects sensitive skins against irritation
- Expect around 100 shaves from this product
- Flow restrictor only allows a few drops a time (a little goes a long way)

From the manufacturer of Simpsons shaving brushes comes a new range of quality pre-shave oils designed to deliver outstanding performance. Alexander Simpson Est. 1919 embodies all the values of this great company: heritage, quality and tradition.
Scotsman Alexander Simpson started production of shaving brushes and male grooming ancillaries in 1919 and is widely regarded as a pioneer in the industry. Manufacturing was originally based in the East end of London but later in Clapham. In 1941, following the loss of his factory during the World War II German Luftwaffe blitz, production was moved to the West Country at the famous Nimmer Mill. Today Simpson shaving brushes and associated products are manufactured by Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) Limited on the historic Isle of Man. They continue to be produced in the traditional way using hand tied knots by time served, skilled workers.
