Merkur 39C Slant Bar "Barber Pole" Safety Razor

The Merkur 39C features a slant bar head and the very desirable Merkur "Barber Pole" knurled long handle. Slant bars are considered to give the ultimate close shave but require good technique so they typically suit the more experienced shaver. The head is designed so the blade is slightly twisted when secured, this allows the blade to cut quickly and cleanly. We recommend these particular models to those with a little more experience in using safety razors, as it exposes more of the blade making it quite aggressive.

The combination of the heavy slant head and the long handle make sure the razor does all the hard work. If you're getting good results with a normal double edge razor, the Slant Bar will bring a new level of ease and closeness.
