Semogue Pharos C3 Pure Black Horse Shaving Brush (Yellow)

Made from dyed beech wood, this Pharos-C3 features a pure black horse hair knot.

The softness of the tips is coupled with the firmness of the knot, an excellent combination that provides a good backbone, making it perfect for hard soaps. Horse hair also has very good water retention.

Horse hair brushes are said to have 80% of the good attributes of badger brushes and 80% of the good attributes of boar brushes. They are also perfect for those who don't like to use boar or badger brush for ethical reasons. Horse hair is only taken while the animals are being groomed. No horse is ever harmed from the hair retrieval process.
