Haslinger of Austria has been manufacturing shaving soaps since 1890. The Haslinger family business has been characterize by their product quality. These soaps have been providing a superb lather and a wonderful shave for over 120 years.

Sandalwood Shaving Soap: Mild shaving soap with a delicate and elegant fragrance of sandalwood. Soothes the skin, it moisturizes and makes it soft and supple for shaving. You can expect a strong, almost creamy foam that makes the razor glide gently over the skin and thereby nourishes the skin. The soap is very rich.

Sandalwood is valued for its antiseptic, tonic and anti-inflammatory effect, and its aphrodisiac, harmonizing and soothing fragrance.

Certainly not the very best, as we have used a different one, endorsed by the Brittish Monarchy. THIS was worth 5 stars. However, it was a lot more expensive. Therefore we allot 4 stars . My husband's words: it is okay

Excellent moisturising soap!

The quality of the lather and moisturing quality leaves your skin feeling unlike any other soap or cream I have used. I converted from TOBS sandalwood as I was looking for a more sustainable product which has far less plastic packaging. I couldn't be happier, its performance is far superior and really protects the face. It's soft and easy to lather. Highly recommended

A budget shaving soap that performs ok!

I have been looking forward to trying this, its not expensive compared to some soaps however its just ok in terms of lathering and does the job without one feeling wow!
