Compared to Astra blades, I felt Feather DE blades to be more sharp, clean and i got quite a few shaves from one blade compared to the Astra. Feather blades are most certainly my first choice. Like any product, you need to try it to know if its worth the money, most importantly, quality. This time im trying Muhle blades and i will post a review on these blades to compare with Feather blades. I like how Fine shave have many different brands of DE razor blades. The reviews from other customers on their experience with brands is a very important element in deciding to purchase and try a blade brand. This is my second order of DE blades from Fineshave. I will post a review on the Muhle blades when I have my first shave with them to compare against Astra and Feather.

Hidden in Albany,close to State Highway 1, lies this little oasis of calm. I popped in to collect my order and started asking questions about this and that, as the place is a bit like Dr Who's Tardis. It looks small, but there's a huge amount of shaving paraphernalia on display. Frank was a font of knowledge - giving advice and not defaulting to pushing high end gear at me. I'm sure I'll head that way in time, but one should never rush these things. Who would have thought that razor blades are not all of the same sharpness. Now I know.
