I saw this razor advertised on a lot of platforms and wanted one to use as I was sick of throwing money and plastic rubbish into landfill. Buying from the website was super expensive for shipping, but this it so worth it.
I have never cut myself with this razor since purchasing it. It's worth the price you pay!
I've had it now for well over a year and I'm still running on the same purchase of blades (bought a few packs of blades with the razor) and I'm just visiting the site to buy some more.
This was a great purchase and would highly recommend. I bought a cheap razor while away on holiday and it pales in comparison to the Henson.
I highly recommend this product. It gives you a super close smooth shave.
My husband loves this product! The natural look and feel along with decent hold for styling is perfect. If we ever run out before ordering more Layrite and are forced to use other products while waiting, it’s always a disappointment. This is the best product my husband has ever used.
This cream has an extra dimension: an uplifting fresh skin tingle. Kudos to the engineers; it's just right.
Three thumbs up.
I love the feel and smell of this after a shave. And my wife love it as well so that's a bonus
Going back to these as Gillette Platinums are unavailable. Certainly sharp enough, just need to take things carefully ;)
Good way to try a few budget blades. I was pleasantly surprised by the Derby Premiums. Yet to try the Sharks or Tigers, but even if they are duds I now have a couple of adequate options.
Just when you think shaving cream does the job this turns up and does an even better job for shaving!
This must have been a dud pack. They are generally good from the beginning.
The best I’ve used for price is Lord.
Outstanding performer. The scent kind of reminded me of Fine Accoutrements' American Blend.
5 stars for the service and the quality of the product!
To be honest, I didn't really enjoy the experience I had with this brush, and kind of regretted with the purchase. Something to do with my personal preference, nothing wrong with the product, which was solidly constructed and of high quality.
Compared to some of my favourite synthetic knots (Plisson, Yaqi Cashmere and Mew Brown, PAA Roswell and Tribble), which were pampering soft, easy splaying and still had enough backbone, this Semogue Sylver knot was more on the stiffer side. Densely packed, and a bit hard to splay. Though the fibre tips were super soft, the fibre shafts were a little coarse. With extra pressure applied in order to splay the knot, just made prolonged face lathering somewhat scritchy and unpleasant.
Personally, I thought there were many great brushes available here at FineShave that costed less, and were much more pleasant to use. But that was just my opinion solely based on my personal experiences. After all, this Semogue brush was a high quality product, and did what a shaving brush was supposed to do, generating voluminous amount of lather from soaps/creams.
Love this product, easy to use, long lasting, great smell and gentle on the skin.
A great shaving brush, soft and gentle and lathers the shaving cream nicely. Definitely recommend!
Great value brush. Takes some time to bed in and soften the bristles but once thats done it lathers well.
good value at its price point
Works alright, gets a bit tangled in thick hair. Cushion fills with water which is annoying. Worth the 8 bucks
Definitely the best blades I have tried so far, very forgiving without the pulling. Something to try!
very little scent. small size makes it dear to buy
Blades give a super nice shave with my Henson AL13 mild - feels very safe akin to a disposable razor gillette, bic etc. I originally used Derby Extra and Premium blades but didn't perform nearly as well as these Feathers
