As usual Stirling balms are great but this one takes it to the next level with the scent. Now all I need to do is find a good clone of Green Irish Tweed.

I needed a new beard wash so on recommendation in store I opted for the Proraso beard wash. WOW what a difference from the previous beard wash I had been using. It lathers easily and one pump can easily cover a lot of beard. For context I have a no 4 beard (think Sean Connery in Hunt for Red October). I use it with the Tooletries Ace Face Scrubber for max effect . My new go to beard wash.
Razor sharp. Can get quite a few shaves from one blade. This would be my first experience shaving with feather blades and they are very good and clean cut. I will definitely have feather as my top blade.

This razor is beautiful, extremely well made, and performs brilliantly. The first things you’ll notice out of the box is the excellent fit and finish, and the pleasant heft and balance. This razor feels like a premium tool and also looks the part with a crisp, clean design. The knurling is restrained but functions well, and I have no problem gripping and controlling the razor - even with wet soapy hands. I very much like the ‘grande’ sized handle.
I have used the razor with a variety of blades and all have performed very well. The razor is not mild, yet nowhere near as aggressive as the R41. It is nonetheless efficient and can deliver good shaves with a single pass and extremely close shaves with just two passes. Despite this it is very comfortable and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as a ‘daily’ razor. Despite not having ‘vents’ in the baseplate the razor doesn’t clog as the generous channels (while not as huge as those in the Futur) efficiently manage cut whiskers and soap.
In short, I am really impressed by this razor and it has immediately become one of the favourites in my collection. VERY highly recommended.
Finding it really good
I found these blades pretty good, sharp and smooth, but downside was the fact that they left rust marks on my razor, despite loosening off cap and allowing space and air to breathe. I haven’t encountered this with any other blade.

The Rockwell 6S is a super solid stainless steel razor that gives really smooth shaves. The swap-out plates make it easy to go mild or more aggressive, and the weight actually feels great in the hand.
First time using these blades. They are very thin. And very sharp. I'm not a metallurgist. My shave reminded me of using Feather blades. With the the attendant need to pay attention to the job in hand. The photo is of a Muhle Rocca loaded with a Stranglet blade
