It was all that I expected and more. Liked the fragrance. Frothed up better than expected. I think I also got a closer shave than before.
Iβve been wet shaving for over 50 years and have never before struck anything so bad. Impossible to get a useable, lasting lather.
Ordered this for my Father and he liked it very much. The size is just right, very easy to store away in toiletrie bag.
Love the scent, which lasts well through the day. Soothing and leaves the skin feeling great. Great service and super-quick delivery as always from Fineshave.
I use this after using the Taylor of Old Bond Street Jermyn sensitive shaving cream. I never have any irritation afterwards even with sensitive skin.
I have used this for a few years now. I always get a great clean shave, and it doesn't upset my sensitive skin
OK. great razor. 3 plates, 6 settings. Start from plate #1 and start your experimenting journey. I"m on my first week with this razor using Astra blades. Yesterday plate 3 gave me my best, closest shave in the last 5 years. Trying plate 4 today. Shaving every day. I had been using the Henson medium and tried every blade available, daily and every other day shaves. No blade combination ever got me to where I am now after 4 days with the 6C. ( feel like I wasted 4 years with the Henson, Frank gave me samples of oil, soaps, creams to try, nothing worked out for me with the Henson. Honestly, buy this razor when starting out DE shaving. Find the best plate number and blade for you, then, if you want, you can get a comparable razor that should be within the same shaving feel and performance. When the youtube shavers praise this razor, stating it is within their top 10 if not top 5 razors, believe them. Just get one and trust me and yourself shaving.
The title says it all. Use these as a guide for other sharp blades. Good consistency and quality, cheap, all you may ever need.
I bought this for part of my preshave routine. I never shower before shaving so I use the PAA cube soap wash, followed by this gel, then face lather. Slick, don't need much at all and helps aid the shave.
aas known to all, these are the sharpest blade, as i experienced previously, too sharp for my skin. bought to try in a new 6c razor.
Head and shoulders above the rest for a thick beard. Like a hot knife through butter. Great fast service too!
Very easy to use, highly recommend if you're starting out
These blades are great. They are nice and sharp, but also not too aggressive or irritating. I use them in my Muhle razor and I think I prefer them to the Feather ones. They seem to last quite a few shaves before needing replacement.
After trying the Proraso pre shave cream and being hugely underwhelmed Epsilon seems much more what I'm after.
It only misses out on 5 stars due to the fiddly dropper/pippette (not used that word since chemistry class), delivery sytem, which you know you are going to knock over into the sink one day.
Epsilon is an actual oil that coats the skin leaving it very smooth post shave. It smells great without the scent being too intrusive. The oil reduces the red rash I always get on my throat so basically job done.
This beard brush is perfect in every way.
The bristles are of a good quality and length.
And the flintlock handle is ergonomic.
Overall a satisfying brush to use.
Best razor I have ever used, great service from Fineshave
Forms a good fine lather, and overall it's a nice soap to shave with. The scent (laurel/bay essential oil) is strong when first opening the container, but becomes more subtle with use. The green with black flecks looks a bit unfortunate initially, but you get used to it. Would I buy it again? Maybe, if it comes back in stock... though I'd also be keen to try the other Razorock products.
This is my first pre-shave cream and essentially I wanted it to protect against a patch of razor burn I get on my throat. It hasn't really done this and I've not seen a reduction in nicks or cuts either which usually only occur if I'm rushing. I'll try a different brand but if all it does is make the shave slightly nicer then, for the cost, I don't really see the point.
After enduring American shaving creams for over a year and being disappointed with each shave, I decided to return to a soap. I am delighted with the result I'm experiencing with Razor Rock, great foam that lasts and a smooth comfortable shave.
One of my favourites I find the cream very nice and being a cream lathers very well gives a good shave and the shea butter leaves the skin feeling very nice and protects skin from razor rash from italy and has a great history would recommend to any traditional wet shaver.
Have used poraso soap in the past so thought I would try again I love the shea butter leaves skin feeling soft and smooth you do have to lather soap abit more with brush and can dry out so you have to apply abit more on face the sandalwood scent is lovely and would reccomend to any traditional wet shaver.
