Refund policy

We have a 30-day refund policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To start a return, you can contact us at help@fineshave.co.nz or use our "Return Request form". If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted.

Change of Mind
To be eligible for a "change of mind" return, your item must be unopened & unused. In general, goods must be returned in their original purchase condition including all product parts and manufacturer's packaging in original condition. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note, we do not cover return shipping and the original shipping fee is none refundable for change of mind returns. If you've received free shipping on your order and your change of mind return brings the order value under the free shipping threshold, we may deduct the value of the initial shipping cost from your refund.

Returned "change of mind" products that arrive in a damaged condition, including damage to their manufacturer's packaging - may not be accepted for return, please take care to package the item safely.

We are not responsible for "change of mind" return packages that may be lost or damaged in transit. It is recommended that you choose a method of shipping with tracking and insurance.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us as soon as possible if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right by repair, replace or refund. We will organize the return of the product at our cost.


Wrong product description
If you are concert about a product that you have received from us that doesn't match our website description, please let us know as soon as possible. We are more than happy to take back the product. We will organize the return of the product at our cost.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Unfortunately, we cannot accept "change of mind" returns for goods (such as clearance items, gifts, gift cards, items where a product seal has been broken due to hygienic reasons).

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

We are fully committed to protect your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) and Fair Trading Act. Our Return Policy applies to all goods or services bought for personal or household use. If you are acquiring goods for business purposes as defined in sections 2 and 43 of the CGA, you agree that the consumer guarantees provided for in the CGA will not apply to the supply of those goods.
