Order Dispatch :

• Orders are dispatched from our Auckland Warehouse.
  We do not drop ship; all stock is on our shelf here in NZ.
• We aim to dispatch your order the same day via NZ Post Courier or New Zealand Couriers (orders must be received & paid before 4PM).
• Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday will be dispatched the next business day.
• Tracking details are automatically emailed once your order has been packed.

• Rural Delivery (RD addresses) can add a couple of business days. Please select the Rural shipping option during checkout for the quickest delivery.

During checkout, you will be offered various shipping methods.

• Authority to Leave - Courier Delivery
  Tracked service with a delivery target of 1-2 business days. No Signature is required and the courier driver will leave your parcel in a safe place (any item lost or stolen after delivery is at your own Risk). Your parcel is still covered if the Courier damages or loses it during transport.
  We strongly recommend using "Signature Required" for higher-value orders or if there is no safe place to leave your parcel (that's weatherproof & out of view of the street).
  
• Signature Required - Courier Delivery
  Tracked service with a delivery target of 1-2 business days and someone at your address must sign for the parcel or you have given NZ Post a "Leave my parcel authority". 
  Please keep in Mind: "Authority to Leave (ATL)" is assigned to your address (not a person). If you have just moved to a new address or another household member has given an Authority to Leave - this will apply to anyone at the same address. To manage an ATL, create a NZ Post account for free and check your address verification status.

• Rural (non-urban) Delivery
  Tracked service with a delivery target of 1-4 business days. During checkout most rural (non-urban) addresses are detected, but if your address is new or doesn't match the NZ Post database you might be given multiple shipping options. Missed a delivery :

This could be because your parcel needed a signature or the courier driver didn’t think it was safe to leave it. Your parcel is then returned to the local depot and you have the option to have it re-delivered or re-directed to another address (within 50km).

Packaging :

We do everything we can to send your products as securely as possible.

• All orders are packaged in cardboard wrap or cardboard boxes.
• For void fill, we use food-grade plain newsprint paper or biodegradable pop cornstarch.
• We try to avoid using plastic packaging as much as we can (eg. bubble wrap), but some manufacturers might use some plastic wrapping or product packaging. Feel free to contact us and we will check.
• Our courier bags are compostable, they are made from corn starch, PLA and PBAT. A natural alternative to traditional plastic-based courier bags.

Returns Policy

We know that shopping online can sometimes be tricky. Whether you've simply changed your mind or something isn’t quite right, we’ll always do our best to make it right.

To keep things fair for everyone and ensure we can continue offering great products, we just have a few common-sense guidelines.

Change of Mind Returns

You are more than welcome to return products within 60 days of delivery if you decide they aren't right for you (10-day returns on all clearance items). Because we need to be able to resell the item to another wet shaving enthusiast, we just ask that the following conditions are met:

• The Condition: Products must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition you received them. This includes all manufacturer packaging, seals, labels and accessories.

• Shipping Costs: For change of mind returns, the cost of returning the item is the customer’s responsibility. Original shipping charges are also non-refundable.

• Free Shipping Adjustments: If your original order qualified for free shipping, but returning an item reduces the remaining order value below the free shipping threshold, we’ll simply deduct the original shipping cost from your refund.

Received a Damaged or Incorrect Item?

We take great pride in packing your orders safely, but sometimes accidents happen in transit or we make a packing mistake. We are so sorry if this happens! Please let us know immediately. We will arrange and pay for the return shipping. As soon as the return is confirmed, we’ll happily send a replacement or provide a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Product Doesn't Match the Description?

While we strive to be as accurate as possible, manufacturers occasionally update their packaging, formulas, or ingredients without notifying us. If the product you’ve received doesn’t match the description on our website, please let us know. We will gladly take it back at our cost and issue a full refund or exchange.

How to Return a Product

1. Request a Return: Please complete the Return Request Form below, or email us at shop@fineshave.co.nz so we can authorize the return and know to expect your package.
2. Pack Safely: For "change of mind" returns, please ensure the item is securely packaged inside a shipping box. If the product or its original manufacturer packaging arrives damaged, we unfortunately won't be able to accept the return.
3. Send It Back: We highly recommend using a tracked, signature-required shipping method. We cannot be responsible for "change of mind" returns that are lost or damaged in transit.

Refund Processing

Once your return arrives, we’ll inspect it and process your refund as quickly as possible. Refunds are issued back to your original payment method, such as the credit card or payment service used when placing your order.
