Go with what you can afford, but I am lucky enough to afford the entire Proraso sensitive line. The fragrance is uniform and all products complement each other beautifully. I have sensitive skin so I needed something that wouldn't mess things up. The scent is mild and refreshing. Perhaps the Nivea or Cetaphil lotion would work equally good (they have million dollar pharma r&d at their disposal) but you won't get the signature scent. Sadly, this probably won't last as long as the shaving cream / pre shave yet is more expensive. Those two are necessities, and to be fair this one is not. Do get it, if you can afford it.
Good quality item
Goes well with the shaving cream and soap stick I purchased from Fineshave. Leaves the face feeling fresh with no stinging sensation. A little goes a long way.

Nice aftershave balm. The scent is not as strong as the pre-shave cream from the same line, which is actually a good thing as it does not interfere with any colognes I decide to layer on top of it.

Nothing fancy but does a great job. Proraso has quite a heritage with shaving products. This is a great cooling balm for after shaving. Not greasy, not expensive and does the trick for me every day.
This calmed my skin after a shave with a DE blade that i really should still be using. It quickly and effectively soothed my irritation that i couldnt imagine having faced without this. I would describe the scent as apple and lime. Somewhat akin to a hotel soap. I dont mind it. It has proven itself to me. Highly recommended.
