LOVE THE SCENT.. but...

Firstly, I LOVE this scent. It immediately takes me back to barber shops as a kid in the UK, some 20 years ago. I also like how quickly it appears to absorb into the skin.

However, I'm not really a fan of the burn that this balm gives, even after an alum block application. The skin is left feeling smooth and stretchy, but quite 'hot' for a while after. Not the best sensation when compared with Proraso sensitive aftershave balm, which is slightly cheaper.

The consistency is also quite inconvenient. Not thin enough to pour, but not really thick enough to scoop out. Thins out quite quickly when rubbing in hands.

A mixed bag really.
