Second special limited edition batch of XXX in Razorock's DURO formula, stiffer and more dense than our traditional XXX formula. Made in late Fall of 2015 and air cured for four months in special wooden boxes. This is a new formula never used in a RazoRock shaving soap before.
This soap produces a great lather for razor glide and luxurious post shave face feel. The big jar makes it easy to load your brush and get your shave on.
Scent: The citrus top notes of bergamot, orange, & lemon blend with a floral heart (lilac, lavender, rose, basil) to give it a light, sunny feeling but then earthier base notes like hay, tonka bean, musk, sandalwood, and patchouli keep it masculine and seductive.
Size: 150 ml
Made in Italy using artisan methods.
Tips: RazoRock Italian shaving soaps are formulated to be used with a traditional shaving brush. To use this shaving soap, simply swirl a wet shaving brush on top of the soap for 30-40 seconds, then you can either complete the lather right on your face or in a lathering bowl, add droplets of water to the lather until you reach your desired consistency. Less water will make for a thicker and pastier lather, more water will make a slicker and thinner lather. Make sure to let the soap fully dry before covering it again with the lid. If you are using the soap daily, there is no need to cover it.

Lathers well. While I can get a finer lather from more expensive soaps this is a excellent lather at this price and gives a very good shave..
Pleasant hint of citrus aroma, not too strong and background aroma of.... of something else. Most people should find it pleasant. I will purchase again and keep one in rotation.
