This is like plunging your face into a tub of marzipan! Which I love, and it’s an intense fragrance. In addition it lathers really easily and produces a creamy soap that is nice and slick. All this at a very reasonable price.

Not so much of a cream, definitely more of a soap. Challenging to get a thick lather but does provide adequate protection during shave. I like the smell (marzipans). Quite happy overall. Price was good.

I have tried about a dozen different creams/soaps over the years and this is my go to standard. Lovely lather with a good skin protection and close shave. Compared to my Proraso Red, it is a bit harder and seems to last longer as well. Well worth a try.

Great soap, love the scent. Bowl is a little small for easily loading a brush - I usually transfer out into an old razorock or phoenix container.

This is the shaving soap I’ve been looking for for a while. It’s introduced a sense of ritual in to my morning shave which I now look forward to, rather than regarding it as a chore.
I have used this shaving soap for a few years now. I have tried several other brands but what I like about this is its fine and rapid lathering, smell (initially quite fragrant almond but when half used not so much) and skin moisturising properties. Its fine lathering is hard to beat.
I haven’t tried this before - I should have! Lovely aroma but doesn’t hang around to spoil whatever is coming after…very rich creamy easy to build lather. No wonder it’s so popular.

Nice thick lather, great smell that goes away quickly after shaving. Consistency (not a cream,but not a hard soap) took a few goes to get used to loading reliably.
Excellent rich lather and clean smell
I'd read positive reviews about the Cella, so purchased it partly based on those, and partly for the 150g plastic pot it comes in, which looks like it'll make a good soap carrier for road trips.
Long story short, Cella makes a great lather, right up there with MWF and Haslinger Schafmilch, which are also tallow-based soaps. It has a strong almond scent in the pot - very marzipan. As I don't even like marzipan I was concerned about the fragrance, but once it's lathered and on the face it's much more subtle, and leaves a mild, pleasant after shave scent. Probably my favourite behind the Haslinger soap.
Well worth a try if you're considering it....I'll likely order more in due course.

This was my first purchase from Fineshave, I ordered come Cella shave soap and a blade sampler pack. Delivery was very fast, and the items were well packaged. The Cella seems great so far. It lathers well and I really like the Almond scent which is errs on the bitter rather than sweet side. Great for me! I would definitely shop with Fineshave again, great value and great service.
