This Nourishing Shaving Cream, created for thick, coarse or curly beards, is rich in emollients to soften the hair and nourish and regenerate skin. Shea Butter keeps the skin soft and supple, Cocoa Butter provides sustained protection and Sandalwood Oil provides a warm and intense fragrance. Made with a special "hot soap" process, it's left to mature in small batches for 3 days, producing an extremely fine, thick and creamy soap that, products a soft, rich lather.

Directions:

Step 1: Dampen your face with warm water (can skip this step if you are using Pre-Shave Cream)
Step 2: Dampen your brush with warm water.
Step 3: Gently spread about 2cm of Proraso Shaving Cream amount the bristles of the brush
Step 4: Massage onto the face with circular movements to obtain a rich and creamy foam (for those who do not have a brush, can use fingertips to replace the brush)

I've had a couple of shaves with this shaving cream. A little goes a long way when lathered up. Very please with the results. Will stop using the regular shaving foam and gel from the supermarket.

One of my favourites I find the cream very nice and being a cream lathers very well gives a good shave and the shea butter leaves the skin feeling very nice and protects skin from razor rash from italy and has a great history would recommend to any traditional wet shaver.

Nice lather...

Very nice lather, provides a good cushion - a real pleasure to shave with. The smell is quite strong, although not unpleasant, but I do not love it. This has helped control the redness I get after shaving especially around my neck. Not the most hydrating product, however - I sometimes find my skin left a little dry.

Good, but not as good as the menthol

Thought I'd try the sandalwood cream when I'd finished my menthol one by Proraso. Acts the same way, nice lather and helps the razor glide beautifully. It would have got 5 stars, but personally, I prefer the 'zing' and scent of the menthol version.

If you apply soap to your face, this is product is for you.

I'm a big fan of Proraso sandalwood shaving soap, so was curious to try this product. I apply soap directly to my face, lathering with a brush (using cold water). This predicted edges out the soap because its easier to apply and lather using my prefer routine. However, if I lathered using a bowl, I'd probably stick with the soap. In any even, really great product and will not disappoint. (Thanks FineShave for shipping so quickly).
