I had been using the "Proraso" Sandalwood soap and cream previously. I found that "Taylor of Old Bond Street" cream was a far superior product with a great Sandalwood scent.

Wonderful shaving cream,only needs two or three strokes of the brush in the cream to be able to build up a nice rich lather.

Nice homely smell. Not overbearing or powerful. This one lathers up really well compared to the others, so much so that it even gets in the way of my shave if I put too much on since it can get so thick. This is not a fault, it means it's just that good.

Lathered great with a equally memorable woody scent. What really impressed me was the lubricating quality. I couldn't feel the feather blade go through 4 days of growth with a merkur 34c. The skin was left supple and smooth. I am definitely looking forward to using it during winter.

After a lifetime of using supermarket shaving foam or gel, I decided to give this a go. I'm glad I did - good lather, pleasant smell and leaves my skin feeling soft after a shave. The scent evokes memories of old school barber shops, and so may feel slightly old fashioned, but that's not necessarily a bad thing - more a case of personal preference.

Then, just to change things I thought I would try this a. I'm about to order my next tub... it is awesome! Light, good body, excellent lather, and gives a good shave with a pleasant scent.
