I have always been a fan of TOBS products so my expectations of this one was high. It still blew me out of the waters how good it was. Gave me one of my smoothest shaves to date. Lathered easy, typical of TOBS, and the smell is great. Highly recommend for those with sensitive skin.

Yep. As a long time user of the Taylor of Old Bond street line I had no qualms.This is a soft soap rather than a cream type such as the Sandalwood I use but lathers up well and is definitely smooth and light on the skin.

The young fella has reported that he is having no issues with razor burns (despite his insisting on using a bog standard disposable razor) and having a more pleasant shaving experience all round.
Also has the added benefit of being a more economical soap long term as a little (when coupled with a quality brush) goes a very long way.
An added bonus when you think the teenager in question maybe a fan of the shave foam mohawk. Don't Ask! I may put that little gem on his social media yet!
I use this shaving cream on my head as I've had the privilege off going bald on top. The cream works very well
A few reviews saying how great this is for sensitive skin - which may be true for them. I brought a tub recently (not from Fineshave) and I had a different experience. I got through one side of my face before having to wash the rest off and apply copious moisturisers to relive the burning. Simply put this has waaay to much scent for a "sensitive" cream - by far my worst wet shaving experience from approx 30 soaps/creams. If you are looking for a mild low-scent cream/soap with all natural ingredients for your sensitive skin - this isn't it.
Since I started shaving in high school, I've been dealing with razor burn and shaving rash. I started off with Gillette shaving foam which was no good for me as I have sensitive skin! So I tried shave oil and shave gels but they didn't help things much either. Then I moved on to shave creams which I found to be much better. About 2 years ago I tried the Taylor Of Old Bond St, Jermyn Street Collection for Sensitive Skin and it is brilliant. I shave with a DE razor and use a bowl and brush to work up a lather and the Jermyn St shave cream is fantastic. It provides an rich and thick lather that enables my DE razor to slide smoothly through the cream without any drag, and it smells great! This shave cream, in combo with the 'Merkur Super Platinum Razor Blades' is the best combo I have come across yet. Even if you don't have sensitive skin, I would recommend you give it a whirl!
