Handmade in Premana (Italy) the PICCOLO razor, definitely is an icon for many fans, comes in a new version Black & Gold with the handle and the top of the head in a metallic black while the two combs supplied have the gold finish. The end result is really elegant and precious. With this product, every traditional shaving enthusiast can try out the experience of the two heads, to face any kind of beard and growth.

The Original head with open comb ensures that the razor works well with different lengths of beard growth with a very accurate and deep shave.
The "Testina Gentile" head with closed comb protects the skin from exposure of the blade and softens its passage while ensuring excellent results in terms of depth of shaving.

About Fatip:
All razors are handmade in Premana (Italy), near the Como lake, thanks to the expertise and the skills of qualified craftsmen. The well balance design features a lined pattern handle and the renowned Fatip open comb head. The razor is finished in polished nickel. The Fatip Grande has a slightly longer, thicker hollow barrel handle. This gives amazing auditory feedback as each hair is cut.
The new razor head called the "Testina Gentile" is a totally different approach, it's a mild yet efficient design that flexes the blade more than average, similar to the Merkur 45.
The Fatip razors are renowned for being very aggressive, and are perfect for people who have thicker beard growth or shave at less frequent intervals. Excellent for people with thick beard growth or harder stubble.

Firstly with the Piccolo comb.
This was my first open comb razor and I was feeling a bit uneasy trying it for the first time.
It actually is surprisingly smooth. The comb teeth have nice round edges.
Yes you definitely know the blade is there and you need to be mindful of what you are doing, but this thing mows hair with ease.
The Gentile comb is very different. It can feel like it’s not cutting but it still removes the hair.
Very nimble wee razor but with good weight being brass.
If you don’t shave everyday and/or have a coarse beard this could be for you.
