I've been DE wet shaving for well over 20 years now. I've tried all sorts of blades and found that stainless steel blades are not sharp enough for me. These platinum-coated type are superb. Feather brand is about as good as any that I've tried. They cut like a razor!
Super impressed with Feather razor blades, I've tried several brands of razor blade from a few countries, and these Japanese blades feel the best to shave with.
Just one caveat -- they are sharp! Very, very sharp!
Best blades for coarse beards.
Tried quite a few different blades but these are the best for me. Clean cut and stay sharp. Also pretty obvious when they get dull.
These are fabulous - highly recommend. Well worth the money over some cheaper alternatives
I'm certain that you need to try combinations of razors and blades to get a shave you really like. I thought I had nailed it with the Gillette Silver Blue on a Rockwell T2SS setting 4. But I have had a few shaves now with a Henson Ti22++ and Feather. Wow, just wow! Super smooth and close shave with the Henson. No nicks or burn, and I'm quite new to DE razor shaving. I like the Wilkinsons on the Henson as well, but Feather is slightly better IMHO. The remaining Astra Platinums I have will be going in the bin...really rough shave.

These are awesomely sharp blades not a beginers blade only Kai comes close to this level of sharpness, Feathers produce a very close shave, polished marble smooth compared to many others.
I have been using them for over a year now and are my preferred choice,
For best results take your time.
Well worth the investment.
Best blades for me, usually get skin irritation, but not with these.

As always, great selection and fast service by FineShave. Wanted to try the Feather New Hi-Stainless as had read they were the sharpest blades available. Although I did not find the blades were sharper than others I have purchased before, they are still sharp and allow for a good shave.
I'm an amateur when it comes to using safety razors, and kind of figured that all blades where more or less the same. That was until I tried these blades. I've tried some bluebeard ones and some derby premium ones as well, and these feathers are substantially better. They last longer and give a much smoother shave in my opinion.
Fine Shave delivered in 2 day's I'm very impressed I'll make future purchases for sure.The feather blades IMO are good but I didn't think they were any sharper than other's I have used I have nicked myself a few times but that was me being clumsy overall a good blade I'll try others before I settle on a go to blade.
