Description

Have you ever drop your safety razor?
Accidents do happen and if you unlucky you might have damage the top plates screw thread. Previously you had to replace the whole razor, but now you can repair your Mühle or Edwin Jagger Safety Razor with this replacement top plate.

This replacement top plate will fit the following DE Safety Razors
- Mühle R89 (closed comb only)
- Edwin Jagger DE89L, DE89 Barley, DE86

Warning: Do not overtighten the DE head.
Cast metal is fragile if dropped.

The design of the Mühle R89 twist means that the top plate thread is critical to securing the head to the body of the razor. So it's great to see Mūhle making the top plates available, as after a few years the thread inevitably weakens given the design (although, yes, you could reasonably critique the design to begin with). Well done - the razor rides again!
