This is my first slant razor and I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical, as I thought slant razors might be gimmicky. After just one shave I was sold! This razor has a nice heft to it, sits well in the hand, and the shave is both very smooth and efficient. I’d rate the aggression as the low end of medium - not dissimilar to my Merkur 38C. The knurling is excellent and there’s no way it is slipping from even the wettest hands. On top of that the razor is very modestly priced which makes this the best bang-for-buck razor in my collection. In short, I really enjoy it and unreservedly recommend it.

Not sure if the slant blade is simply a gimmick. The theory sounds good, but could be snake oil.
Regardless, this is only my second safety razor. My first was a matt black no-name thing that would quickly get clogged and you needed to loosen the blade to clean it wih a jet of water. I shave in the shower, so this means a lot more hot water usage, steam, time, and hassle from the missus.
This RazoRock razor has a very open comb, and even with a full week's growth it remains clear at all times - huge saving in time, water, and bother. The missus might never be happy though.
Despite being open comb it is not aggressive at all. Keep your skin taut, all good. Compared to my draggy old one, the chromed head glides over the skin easier than a curling stone on a frozen lake. The stainless steel handle is quite heavy but the razor feels well balanced - just don't drop it onto tiles or near glass!
It could be slightly more aggressive, after a few strokes (of the razor), the end result is smooth, but still with a slight feeling of stubble when you run your hand against the grain. Maybe the feeling of a few hours growth.
But very happy with it, good value for money. Put a dab of plumbing lube on the thread from time-to-time for longevity.
Usual exceptionally fast service from Fine Shave. Made several purchases from them. Always first rate service - fast shipping of goods. First slant razor that I have used. Substantial and easily gripped handle. Although blade gap on razor looks large have found it to be a very smooth shaver and no issues with cuts or irritation. Do have a razor with the Muhle R41 head which would be a closer shaver but, far more care needed with the R41 to avoid cuts or irritation.
