This Dovo Shavette is perfect for getting started with straight razor shaving. The use of inexpensive Disposable Razor Blades eliminates the need to purchase a hone, strop, and most of the other accessories typically required, lowering the cost and difficulty factors greatly. Simply discard the blade after a few shaves and insert a fresh Blade. This razor's versatility has made it a popular choice for professional barbers and hairstylists worldwide.

MATERIAL: This Shavette is made from high-quality aluminium. The used anodising process changes the top metal layer, giving it an elegant appearance and corrosion-resistant properties. Due to its low density, aluminium is a true lightweight which leads to the unique weight distribution of this Shavette.

HANDLE MATERIAL: Olive wood is a unique, natural material. It is harder than domestic oak or beech wood and shows a high resistance against mould infestation. Even untreated olive wood has an above-average resistance to water making it the perfect material for straight razors, shaving brushes, and shavettes.

Interchangeable blade holders are available, not included with this shavette but an option to use a variety of blades :

CLEAR/RED HOLDER: Accepts standard double edge blades which are snapped in half thereby doubling the economy factor. Another option are Saloon blades, they have been conveniently snapped in half ready to be used with this razor (it eliminates the need to manually break DE blades in half). Best choice for edging and detailing of beards and moustaches, hairlines, around nose, etc.

BLACK/CLEAR HOLDER: Uses a longer version of the double edge blade made by Dovo, more closely compared to the blade length of a standard straight razor. These are also snapped in half. A good choice for general use.

GREEN HOLDER: Uses the single-edged PERSONNA razor blades. These blades are of excellent quality due to their sharpness and cutting ability.
