Taylor of Old Bond Street Coconut Shaving Cream Bowl creates a uniquely smooth and creamy lather whilst protecting and moisturising the skin to give a better shave.

In the traditional method, the cream is placed on the brush or on the palm and then applied to the face, where the brush is used to work up a lather. However, most today prefer to use a lather "bowl". Whichever method you chose, you'll be amazed how well theses creams prepare your beard and moisturize your face.

With a classic scent, this is one of Taylor's best selling creams. English Rose with a soft woody base of Cedar and Sandalwood.

Fragrance Notes: A floral accord with notes of rose and geranium with hints of spicy clove and cinnamon. Contains Geranium oil.

Great smell that the wife loves.

If my skin was not so bad I'd use this every day. As I have sensitive skin, I use only when my skin is good.
It creates a great lather, simple to use and just lasts a good long time. This is a great product. I'd suggest the fragrance is a little old school, so make sure your partner likes that smell before you buy. Actually on all the creams and soaps that's not bad advise.

Old Bond Street Rose Shaving Cream

Old Bond Street soaps produce the most dense, firm and soft lather of any shaving soaps I have used. This makes for the most comfortable and enjoyable shaves. I personally particularly like the Rose scent, and also depends on the day. I have two Old Bond Street shaving soaps and I use one or the other depending on how I feel at the time. Both are fine shaving soaps.

A morning treat

Each morning it is a treat to have Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving creams for my daily shave. Rose Shaving cream is a recent addition when re-stocking, and my wife in particular has commented what a lovely soft fragrance, my rose shaving cream is. It lathers very well too, and I feel good after each shave.

Tobs Rose shaving cream 150g tub

First time using the Tobs rose shaving cream my first use I noticed I had to use abit more water to get a good lather up for some reason maybe due to different ingredients in cream but this was not a problem and lathered well. I love the rose scent as I have used tobs in the past the sandalwood cream and have never had any problems with it on my sensitive skin great quality product from england and last for ages worth buying from fineshave.

I'm a bit picky here

I enjoyed the TOBS Sandlewood shave cream so I thought I would give the Rose a try. I like it. Smelling it in the bowl seems different to when you are shaving with it. Much better on the face. You get a feel of luxury that is hard to describe. I do like Proraso, but this is definitely a step up. It lathers very well and I enjoy washing my face with the leftover cream after my shave is complete.

So, I just wish the scent would linger a bit longer. I heard the Geo. F. Trumper Rose cream has a stronger scent and may be worth a try, but it is not available here.
