I have used this soap five times so far and must say that I like it and am impressed. The bowl is smaller than I imagined and is designed only for Muhle soap, it has a bump in the bottom which holds the soap puck in place, which has a corresponding hollow, there is a gap between the soap and the bowl and this is done to enhance the lathering I think. The bowl is nice quality porcelain rather than the usual pottery. The soap itself lathers up nicely and with little effort and it has a nice light fragrance, it doesn't feel like a heavy or thick soap and doesn't leave a lot of residue behind after shaving, I actually prefer this type of soap to some others that I have tried and it suits both my skin and shaving style. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and will be getting a refill or two soon.
