Its elegant round shape and mirror chrome finish not only looks great, but the compact design is also very sturdy and heavy due to the solid brass material. A rubber ring is inserted on the underside to protect the base and prevent slipping.
The 11.3mm diameter of the stepped bore in the middle fits MERKUR safety razors such as 23C & 24C, and the larger bore diameter of 14.3mm fits models such as 34C and 37C.
