Scotsman Alexander Simpson started production of shaving brushes and male grooming ancillaries in 1919 and is widely regarded as a pioneer in the industry. Manufacturing was originally based in the East end of London but later in Clapham. In 1941, following the loss of his factory during the World War II German Luftwaffe blitz, production was moved to the West Country at the famous Nimmer Mill. Today Simpson shaving brushes and associated products are manufactured by Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) Limited on the historic Isle of Man. They continue to be produced in the traditional way using hand tied knots by time served, skilled workers.

Have alway used Badger but after seeing this used on YouTube decided to try it.
I does need more work to build a lather but when applied goes on veryflat and smooth. Is now my preferred brush.

Not unhappy with the purchase , seems good. The backbone could be better I think. I like that hairs don’t fall out and seems to return to its original shape after each shave.

After reading about T3 brush on the web and the rave reviews it was getting
i decided to take a punt and get one.
Indeed it is as good as people say it is for a budget priced brush and gets
a 10/10 for bang for your buck and performs way above its price point.
Nothing else can touch it at its price.
The T3 brush makes masses of rich lather very easily with creams and with
the brushes good backbone it makes short work of hard soaps.
This is a very easy to live with brush with a nice handle that makes lathering
up a pleasure, give it a quick wash and it dries really fast.
