This product is fantastic for soothing the skin after shaving, I have used it for shaving my head bald and really soothes the skin preventing irritation. The best thing though is it closes up all nasty cuts seals the skin. Fantastic product and thanks fineshave for being excellent to deal with.

The Alum block really heals my skin after shaving. I suggest after applying the alum block give it a few minutes then wash it off. Dry your skin and apply a moisturiser.

First time user an hour ago. Instantly soothes the skin leaving a grippier, tighter feel after rinsing.

Used as instructed it made the usual couple of blood spots vanish and the skin squeaky after washing off. I noticed the proraso green aftershave had a much more noticeable cooling effect as well. Really recommended, especially since they apparently last forever.

Have tried other lotions and methods to stop shaving cuts and nicks. This is the ultimate. Easy. No mess and stops cuts instantly! I was surprised how effective it is. A+++

I don't think it's any different from the cheaper alums, but it last forever so eh

Great product easy to use, stop nicks from bleeding and gives feedback on where you shave too close to the skin. Not sure how others stack up but I'll probably buy this one again.
