Made in the UK

Scotsman Alexander Simpson started production of shaving brushes and male grooming ancillaries in 1919 and is widely regarded as a pioneer in the industry. Manufacturing was originally based in the East end of London but later in Clapham. In 1941, following the loss of his factory during the World War II German Luftwaffe blitz, production was moved to the West Country at the famous Nimmer Mill. Today Simpson shaving brushes and associated products are manufactured by Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) Limited on the historic Isle of Man. They continue to be produced in the traditional way using hand tied knots by time served, skilled workers.

Great croap

Easy to bowl lather with a synthetic brush as it's a soft soap. Like cream in a pot nearly. I would consider it on par, even a bit better than Proraso cream, so, it's a medium to high tier soap. Slick and likes water to lather up. Smells nice with lime and lemongrass and the same post shave balm really adds to a nice smelling face. I will keep in my routine and wouldn't hesitate to buy again. It's a little bit more costly but your getting 180mls not 150mls so probably works out the same as Proraso product. Try it, it's great.

Do you recommend this Product?: Yes
Just buy it

Only a very very small amount of cream on a brush is needed for a super thick and smooth lather. The scent of lime is true and not overwhelming.
Buy some.
