I've had the Henson for a few years now, but was looking for something with a bit more oomph. This razor certainly fits the bill, lovely feel in the hand, weighty but not heavy, this is now my go to razor, it looks exceptional too, especially in the Muhle stand I got at the same time
The grande is taller. The regular is not. So which one? The argument for the grande is that the extra weight of the handle benefits the shaving. You'll hear a lot of experts on youtube say "let the weight of the razor do the shaving". So there... it helps. A nitpick for the eye watering state of the art Rex Ambassador by Geofatboy (youtube) was that the handle could be longer. There you have it, a longer handle makes sense. Also if you're coming from Gillette cartridge shaving, the handle size will be familiar.
The head is the same as the regular, which results in a mild, forgiving shave. Depending on your face/beard, this could very well be the last razor you need. I suggest trying a few blades to go with it. My choice was Astra, Nacet, PermaSharp and Personna (in order of sharpness). Kit glamour shot follows.

I upgraded to this razor after dropping my old one and damaging the head. This one has a longer, chunkier handle and is easy to manage and shaves really well.

Bought this based on your reviews and I am very happy with this razor. I was previously using a lesser known razor and I seemed to easily nick & cut myself but the Muhle just works so well. The weight & thicker handle work well. I also bought a alum stick but haven't need to use it yet!
If I could award half stars I would give this razor 4.5 out of 5. It is a really good, heavy razor and the weight makes shaving really smooth, with far fewer strokes needed. The only very small downside is that the handle is quite smooth and would be improved by a slightly more gnurled grip. It can sometimes feel a little slippery in the hand until you get used to it

First safety razor after years of disposables. The shave was best ever. Easy shaving and smooth finish. The razors weight and balance are excellent and the grip perfect for secure handling. Used muhle blade but looking forward to trying others as well
I find that the Mühle razor feels like an I-beam in the hand. Yes, it's that solid and rigid, but it's also as light as a feather, which gives it a curious quality, sort of like a fine-artist's paint brush that can also hammer nails. The blade is rigidly anchored into the Mühle's head and feels like it's held in a precision vice when it torqued into place. This razor makes shaving an exercise in one-handed virtuosity, without a doubt, sort of like driving a Ferrari TdF makes you a better driver (not that I'd know that literally from experience, mind you). This is a highly recommended tool for the daily washroom routine. Buy one, now; you won't regret it.

This is my second safety razor and a step up from my first one. I find the longer handle and the heavier weight offers much better control as I shave. The build quality and attention to detail is exceptional. Definitely worth the investment
Took a few days to get used to, but after switching from a multiblade razor I find the Muhle R89 gives a much closer shave. The weight and balance are really good. Well worth the small investment.
