From the Omega professional series - The Omega 48 is an all-time classic, a very popular choice with Italian barber’s. It is the most widely used shaving brush in Italy due to its quality and stylish chromed plastic handle.
The Omega 48 Pro is slightly bigger than many other brushes on the market. The boar bristles are longer than normal, which will give you that edge to transform the soap into a denser & richer foam. The natural boar hairs feel good on the skin and the large grip makes the brush nice and easy to handle.

 - Long bristles excellent for creating a rich lather
 - Exfoliates the skin
 - Chrome effect ABS handle
 - Weight  74 grams
 - Knot (at base): 27-28 mm
 - Loft: 65 mm
 - Handle: 63 mm x 41 mm
 - Total height 130 mm

Made by Omega in Italy

Please Note :  We have some Shaving Brush Holders (Large) available to match this brush with its large knot size.

When possible try to hang your brush for drying. This will help to maintain the condition of your brush, as it stops water from gathering in the handle.

Great brush from one of the best brush manufacturers

I have been using Omega artists for many year as they make some of the most responsive bristle brushes available.
I have been using this shaving brush for a month now and the bristles have begun to split nicely and it does a great job for me of lathering up the soap and cream that I use.

Good brush - massive size

It's a great brush and would recommend that anyone have one in their kit. It only needed minimal break in and is soft from the start.

First proper brush

Decided to go for a boar hair brush for my first real brush, as I've been using Mitchells Wool Fat soap which is quite hard. Unfortunately it looks like the bristles (or loft) seem a bit long for it to have a real good stiffness and build up a lather on the hard soap. The brush feels very nice though, but I was given one with a full chrome plastic handle not like in the picture. 5 stars for a very nice feeling brush, but just something for soap users to be aware of that it might not have the backbone you hope
