The sturdy packaging can also be used as a small carrying case.

Every Black Badger knot is made with the underbelly hairs of the badger. This kind of hair is darker and stronger and you can feel it a little stiffer on the skin. For this reason, the cost is lower than other more prestigious hairs. It has a good lathering performance.

Very nice brush

I was looking for a new brush stand as well as a new brush and settled on this as it looked like best value for money.
Glad I did. A lovely soft brush which lathers up better than anything I have had before to the best of my recall.
Excellent value for money. As for the faux horn, it is something about which I care not a lot. It is how is lathers up and applies the soap to my face is what matters. Nothing else.

Omega Pure Badger Shaving Brush with Stand (Faux Horn)

Great Design, breaking in well

Although to date i have only used this brush twice, on in bowl and the other for a face lather, i must say i like it. The faux horn handle is a really appealing appearance, shape and is easy to grip. I like the metal ring at the base of the knot, a step up from the plastic one use for their proroaso brush. The knot itself came with a strong animal scent that has been fading with each use and shampoo+conditioner treatment. At this point it is not as soft as my wahl badger brush, although it is still breaking in and has not lost a single hair, unlike the wahl, which sheds regularly.

Even in these early uses i found it difficult to whip up a lather on the proraso soap and i definitely think this will be ultimately used with creams only. But still very well made and reasonably priced for an italian pure badger brush. Recommended.
