The RazoRock Mentor closed comb safety razor is a step up in aggression from the head you'll find on the RR Mission razor. The Mentor head design is recommended for the more experienced DE shaver who has already developed a skilled hand.
The handle is machined from solid 316L stainless steel and the deep knurling provides excellent grip even with wet hands. The high-quality mirror-like chrome finish allows for quick and easy cleaning of the razor.

Paired with a Gillette 7 o' Clock Yellow - I had an excellent smooth, nick & irritation-free shave. Comfortable and intuitive shave angle, makes easy work of a 4 day growth of barbed-wire coarse facial hair (I have extremely sensitive skin which makes choosing a good razor & blade combo important). The build quality is really good and rather exceptional considering it's price point. You get a good quality all stainless handle with a good grip and balance. The head is quality chromed alloy and the finish is very good! I already own quite a few razors ranging from vintage to modern all-stainless and this one is among my favourites, together with the Razorock German 37 slant. These Razorock razors are certainly great "bang for buck" value. I am so impressed I am considering buying another as a back-up. Once again, Frank & his team deliver superb customer service with fast shipping and frequent shipping updates.
