TIP: Horse hair brushes do smell the first few times they get wet. You may want to wash it thoroughly with a pet shampoo, rinse well with warm water, and allow to dry before its first use.

When possible try to hang your brush for drying. This will help to maintain the condition of your brush, as it stops water from gathering in the handle which can lead to damage like rotting and bristles falling out.

Great brush, produces excellent lather. Initially smells of horse but soon goes after a few shaves.

Vue horse hair brush

Works up a great lather. Easy on face feel.
Ethically better as the bristles are obtained by grooming the horse
